The Hostel... erm..nope...not gonna tok bout the movie now screening in the cinemas (although will be watching this movie wif yiNGz soon =X) instead i'm thinkin bout the NTU hostel...
----------- Intro ---------- Living in the hostel have its pros n cons... been thinkin bout this for the past few days, discussed wif my family, even my sis who is overseas who is also an ex-ntu, and a fu (current living in there). My sis din live in the hostel for her entire 4 yrs, n my bro who entering NTU nxt yr got his 'application' rejected by my mum b4 =x
----------- Weighing the Pros n Cons --------- Pros Learning to be independence, maybe even learn how to cook myself =x Save on transport time n money Easier to make buddies as everyone is staying together Maybe can accompany yiNGz if she also staying in
Cons Nobody will be at home to take care of my parents as all my siblings nt available The cost of living outside, including the meals etc can go up to 400+ Sometimes can be boring too if ur room mate cant click wif u
------------- Conclusion ----------- After much discussion... i decided against staying in. I rather take the extra cash i need to spend on the accomodation n give to my mum Those people who live further need the accomodation much more den me... 1.5 hrs still ok la Think its better i stay home n enjoy my mum fantastic cookin den eat chao ta food i cook -_-" My sis say i can drive to school if i also send her to work ^^
My sis bought Holland jerseys for me n my bro ^^ (confirm authentic since its bought in Holland) N it seems is the new ones... those that will be worn at the World Cup hehe~
A fu also warned me nt to be tempted, cos NIE many gals de... Erm, i hope i wun be tempted... =x He also remind me to intro him if got nice gals... ok i will try de ^^ (d asked me for the same thing b4 also...=x)
