2 weeks ago... brought darling to eat the renowed Toa Payoh rojak which i like very much which is actually situated less den 100m away from my home =x but she felt the one at joo chiat is better.. make me so tempted to try but till now dun have the chance to..T.T We also tried the joo chiat's durian puff... rated number one... n its really really good machiam like eat the real durian... plus darling so tan chi oops =x her mum also love it haha, yay!
From then... suddenly my family also started a routine, that is to go round sg on sunday night to hunt for goodies to eat (its actually a routine of darling's family to do this.. somehow their virus got into my family too -_-")
Last last sunday, our maiden voyage.. we went to tiong bahru... eat the lor mee, pi dan rojak, carrot cakes (black + white), popiah, hao jian, zhui guay etc... so so shiok lo... but cos i nt very familiar wif the roads... many people give instructions at the same time... make me even more confused T.T
yesterday was chinatown... somehow we chose seats beside the carrot cake stall... which produce like endless smoke... -_-" We got to eat the fried kway tiao, hao jian, carrot cake, wu xiang, stingray... but my fav is the 鸭母琳... sooo nice... even got durian de, jus a faint durian taste. Very qing shuang de feeling... btw 鸭母琳 is actually teochew's 汤圆 =x The rest too oily le... Darling's family was coincidentally on the other side of the market.... luckily din let her family see me so sloppy dressed.. sure bad impression.. so din meet by chance is a good thing =x
I still wanna try the joo chiat rojak... fei fei wanton mee... katong rojak... one of the best popiah also in joo chiat... and also the pasta at shaw tower.. heard it is the best ^^
So pls inform me if there is any good food nearby =x
